Marcelito Pomoy was proclaimed grand winner of ABS-CBN’s “Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) Season 2”
The so called male singing diva and former construction worker from Cavite, Marcelito Pomoy, took home a whooping cash prize of 2 million pesos.
The tap dancing duo Happy Feet (Ramonito and Lolito Mata), was declared the 2nd placer. Happy Feet got 18.32% of the votes.
Dance group Freestylers from Calamba, Laguna was named 3rd Placer with total share votes of 9.46%.

At the results night of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Finals, the hosts announced that Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 is going to start and premiere this coming July 9, 2011. Watch out for it! What a fantastic show. We watch this show in UK and I am British, but Philipinas got talent beats Britains got talent by miles Your judges and hosts are fantastic and have great humanity and big hearts, something this country has lost.
We enjoyed the first season and the second and am looking forward to the third season.
Congratultation ABS/CBN for such a terrific show, this is well worth the monthly subscription alone.
Marcelito is such a deserving winner and we wish him well for a very successful career in showbiz, as we also do with happy feet and the rest of the finalists (All winners)
